Dr. Peifer is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. In June 2011, he was recognized for Outstanding Achievements and Performance in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Peifer earned his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. He then earned his dental degree from Indiana University. He graduated in 2015 from Indiana University where he completed specialized training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. This specialized, four-year training included maxillofacial reconstruction, facial trauma, general anesthesia, bone grafting and dental implants. Dr. Peifer currently is on staff at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Owensboro Health Regional Hospital where he participates in facial reconstruction/ trauma.
Dr. Peifer grew up in Southern California. He enjoys being outdoors with some of his hobbies including dirt bike riding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, golfing, mountain-biking, and boating.
