Dr. Storrs is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Storrs earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a Spanish minor at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. He earned his dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry where he graduated Magna Cum Laude earning honors from the Oral Surgery and Pediatric Dentistry departments.
Following graduation Dr. Storrs began active-duty military service in the US Army. He served as a general dentist for a year at Fort Bragg, NC after which he completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. He then was stationed in Germany and promoted to the rank of major. Dr. Storrs lectured internationally for US and allied nation dentists at the annual military dental conferences and was the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for Army Dental Activity in Bavaria, Germany and Poland. He finished his 9 years of active-duty service working as the assistant program director for the William Beaumont Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Fort Bliss, Texas.
